Mr. A. Chinnappan has been elected as the new National President and Mr. Alexander Antony as National Vice President of the All India Catholic Union (AICU) for the term 2026-2028 at the 72nd Annual General Meeting held on 22nd & 23rd August 2026 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Okhla, New Delhi.
Born on 29th October 1956 at Munnar, Idukki District, Kerala, Mr. A. Chinnappan is a parishioner of Mother of Perpetual Succour Church, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Archdiocese of Delhi. Wife: Mrs. Elin Mary, Daughter: Jennifer Sophia.
Mr. Alexander Antony, a Tamil Catholic born and brought up in Kolkata, is a parishioner of St. Thomas Church, Middleton Row, Kolkata.
Leaders of Kerala Latin Catholic Association (KLCA) from Neyyattinkara Diocese, Trivandrum Latin Archdiocese, Punalur Diocese, Alappuzha Diocese, Verapoly Archdiocese, Calicut Diocese and Kannur Diocese participated as delegates from Kerala in the 72nd AGM. At the 12th Working Committee Meeting held on 21st August 2026, new affiliation was granted to Trivandrum Latin Archdiocese and Neyyattinkara Diocese.

ഓൾ ഇന്ത്യ കാത്തലിക് യൂണിയൻ (AICU) ന്റെ 2026-2028 കാലയളവിലേക്കുള്ള പുതിയ നാഷണൽ പ്രസിഡന്റായി ശ്രീ. എ. ചിന്നപ്പനെയും, നാഷണൽ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായി ശ്രീ. അലക്സാണ്ടർ ആന്റണിയെയും 2026 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 22, 23 തീയതികളിൽ ന്യൂഡൽഹി ഓഖ്ല ഡോൺ ബോസ്കോ പ്രൊവിൻഷ്യൽ ഹൗസിൽ നടന്ന 72-ാമത് വാർഷിക ജനറൽ ബോഡി മീറ്റിംഗിൽ (AGM) തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.
1956 ഒക്ടോബർ 29-ന് കേരളത്തിലെ ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ മൂന്നാറിൽ ജനിച്ച ശ്രീ. എ. ചിന്നപ്പൻ, ഡൽഹി അതിരൂപതയിലെ മയൂർ വിഹാർ ഫേസ്-3, മദർ ഓഫ് പെർപെച്വൽ സക്കർ പള്ളിയിലെ ഇടവകാംഗമാണ്. ഭാര്യ: ശ്രീമതി എലിൻ മേരി, മകൾ: ജെന്നിഫർ സോഫിയ.
തമിഴ് കത്തോലിക്കനായ ശ്രീ. അലക്സാണ്ടർ ആന്റണി ജനിച്ചതും വളർന്നതും കൊൽക്കത്തയിലാണ്. കൊൽക്കത്ത സെന്റ് തോമസ് ചർച്ച്, മിഡിൽടൺ റോയിലെ ഇടവകാംഗമാണ്.
കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര രൂപത, തിരുവനന്തപുരം ലാറ്റിൻ അതിരൂപത, പുനലൂർ രൂപത, ആലപ്പുഴ രൂപത, വരാപ്പുഴ അതിരൂപത, കോഴിക്കോട് അതിരൂപത, കണ്ണൂർ രൂപത എന്നീ രൂപതകളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള KLCA നേതാക്കൾ പ്രതിനിധികളായി 72-ാമത് വാർഷിക ജനറൽ മീറ്റിംഗിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. 2026 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 21-ന് ചേർന്ന 12 മത് വർക്കിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റി മീറ്റിംഗിൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ലത്തീൻ അതിരൂപതയ്ക്കും , നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര രൂപതയ്ക്കും പുതുതായി അഫിലിയേഷൻ നൽകി.
